Our Goal

Not only is Tabitha an avid baker--but she also loves animals, and has many little furry friends! Gerbils, a dwarf hamster, cats, and a ferret (plus whatever wanders up to her outside!). She would like for every homeless or shelter pet to find a loving "fur-ever" home. After the devastation of the Joplin tornado,
when Tabitha was asked what she would miss the most if her home and everything she owned were lost, she replied "My hamster, that I love so much. I can't imagine losing a loved pet to a tornado."

What's New!

SO--her goal-- is to raise money through her "virtual bakeshop" and real bakesales to lend a "helping paw" wherever needed! She has pet gift baskets to give to those adopting shelter pets, so they will have a "special start" with their new family. Her biggest goal is to earn money to give to needy shelters that just can't afford more than the very basics for the animals residing there. She is giving pet toys, blankets, food, pet treats and more to make the time spent in the shelter more bearable to the pets until they find a family to love!

How does it work? It's all "virtual"--so no REAL baked goods are involved (which is good, because they would be stale anyway!) Just visit our Virtual Bakeshop, and select what looks the most yummy to you! If you prefer, just select the item by donation amount--either way, our Goal is met, and your donation goes to a pet that needs to know, that until he is adopted, somebody cares!
